We are pleased to announce the renewal of our C|CT Cybersecurity Scholarship Program.

Launched in March 2023 with an initial investment of $3.5 million, the CCT Scholarship Program received a significant response, with applications pouring in from 170 countries. This global interest highlights the widespread demand for cybersecurity expertise and ensures a diverse pool of candidates with varied perspectives, essential for effectively addressing cyber threats.

The Scholarship Program has become a cornerstone in tackling the global cybersecurity workforce deficit. By nurturing a diverse and skilled talent pool, EC-Council is actively strengthening global cybersecurity resilience. Our continued commitment to this initiative, aligned with our mission to empower individuals and organizations with cybersecurity expertise, signals a future where digital environments are safer for everyone.

Mission:

At a time when governments, critical infrastructure, and industries across the globe are under a constant threat of ever-evolving attack vectors, the demand for cybersecurity professionals has outpaced the supply. This new initiative will accomplish the following:

As a commitment to closing the cybersecurity workforce gap by creating multi-domain cyber technicians, EC-Council pledges $7 million towards C|CT education and certification Scholarships to certify approximately 20,000 cyber professionals ready to contribute to the industry. 

This scholarship initiative will offer successful awardees a unique, entry-level technical course which will be partially funded by EC-Council and will cover complete fees for instruction, e-courseware, practical hands-on labs, critical thinking challenges, and live Cyber Range activities.

Successful awardees will receive a scholarship to cover the cost of the education, and certification resources. The scholarship will not cover the certification exams proctoring and technology fee of $199, which the awardees will be required to pay to avail the benefits of this program.

What happens if I do not accept the grant within 7 days?

As we expect there to be more applications than the number of seats available for the scholarship, failure to accept the scholarship within 7 days of the award will render the award as rescinded and EC-Council reserves the right to provide that award to other candidates. 

For how many days is the C|CT Scholarship exam voucher valid for?

The exam voucher is valid for a period of 1 year from the acceptance of the scholarship application.

  • Scholarships are limited in number and subject to availability
  • C|CT vouchers issued through the scholarship cannot be redeemed for their monetary value.
  • Candidates are requested to furnish true and accurate information. Failing to do so will result in the immediate disqualification of their application.
  • It is mandatory to share the contact details and designation of a verifier who can validate the claims made by the applicant.
  • Scholarships will be granted at the sole discretion of EC-Council.
  • Scholarships are not available with any other discount or special pricing offer. Decisions with regards to scholarships are final, and no further correspondence will be considered.
  • This Scholarship is nontransferable, and partial. The recipient must bear the cost of the exam proctoring and technology fees of $199. The applicant must pay this fee within 7 days of the scholarship being granted. This fee is non-refundable.
